What is a Sustainability Consultant?
C360° Sustainability Consultants have a neutral role. A sustainability consultant is solely focused on the impact certain business choices have on the overall reduction of your operating costs and meeting our sustainability targets without being vested in personal design preferences.
Sustainability consultants provide a broad expertise across multiple disciplines and are able to address questions and concerns in a variety of areas, usually based on prior experience working with numerous efficiency rating systems. Sustainability consultants specialize in these services and are motivated to maintain their education and qualifications in this challenging market.
How Does a Sustainability Consulting Engagement Work?
C360° Sustainability Consulting Engagements consist of two phases:
1. Project Research and Identification Phase
C360° Consultants are paid on a fixed fee basis to perform the research and identification of energy and business solutions. We can also extend this to include the selection and management of appropriate vendors to perform the selected solutions, which can include:
- Energy efficiency
- Energy self-generation (solar, etc.)
- LEED Ratings on any Construction and/or Building Design
- Wireless applications
- Cloud-based software programs
- Business process and operational continuity projects. Each project will have defined milestones, and an expected ROI will be mutually agreed upon between the customer and C360°, based on a guaranteed sustainable outcome over a mutually agreed timetable.
2. Execution Phase
Upon identifying the right vendors, designs and applications, your C360° Sustainability Consultant will work on your behalf to attain your agreed ROI and long term savings. The C360° Sustainability Consultant has further incentive to achieve a higher rate of savings for you on every project, as they receive compensation over the first three year of actual savings as follows:
- Year One: Savings Bonus Equal to 30% of your actual resulting savings
- Year Two: Savings Bonus Equal to 20% of your actual resulting savings
- Year Three: Savings Bonus Equal to 10% of your actual resulting savings
Engagements are performed on site and virtually, as needed, to ensure Clients are not impacted by projects and can maintain a focus on their core revenue focus.
